Investing in green and environmentally friendly developments often sounds expensive. We are glad to prove this wrong: our green and transformational concept is beneficial.
We have designed hybrid driven vessels, with direct electric sailing for inbound and outbound. The vessels have different TEU capacities, with the focus on the edge of short sea and deep sea container shipping. There is modular energy storage at the stern. Our current concept is based on energy storage divided over two containers. For future developments we have made room for 7 x 20ft containers. This means that we can place different energy sources in container format. Depending on the global technological developments to come, we can choose different approaches. This makes our concept future proof.
With hybrid and electric driven vessels, the use of energy reduces radically. Because of our innovative application of technologies, this ship uses up to 35% less fuel compared to regular vessels. As a result, emissions go down by 40%. Due to the ship’s fewer rotating parts, maintenance costs are lower compared to a full fuel vessel. This results in low OPEX.
Although the daily rate for the charterer goes up, because of a bigger investment in the purchase, the reduced use of fuel and low OPEX compensates this significantly. This makes environmentally friendly shipping not only possible, it also makes it worthwhile.

Strategy
We started our green shipping company to change the way containers are transported. For new build vessels, it is our aim to reduce the use of energy and emissions up to 40%. To reach this goal, we have set out a course.
First of all, we believe it is important to make a name for ourselves. This will help us to connect with the right people and companies and to work together towards an environmentally friendlier world in shipping. To become well-known, we will start by converting pre owned vessels to sail up to 20% greener and have them sailing under our company’s name as soon as possible.
When we have found all the right partners to work with and are gaining a steady income from our container company, we can start building vessels according to our concept.
